meters are slow

hey I am checking out a demo of n-track. I like it but the meters on my tracks are slow. Like on the snare, snare hits then split second the meter hits. The sound is fine, it just bugs me. I have demos of a bunch of programs and none of the others do this. Any ideas?

thanks,
dave

ps-are there any "pros" who use N-tracks? It doesn't really matter I was just curious.

I noticed this too. I thought it was just my wonderful Dell, once again demonstrating its' technological superiority...

I've never heard anyone else make mention of this, it is kinda annoying...

I had the same problem until I started messing with the buffering settings. Try lowering your playback and vumeter buffers.

File - Settings - Buffering Settings - More Options

If it doesn't work, you can always revert to one of the buffering presets... I've noticed the "medium buffering" setting works fine for me.

Play with it until you find something that works.

Hope this helps...
