Question

I'm looking for an entry level compressor. I know the type of reputation the Alesis 3630 has around here but the price is not bad. I've been looking at a Paia stereo compressor also. I'm handy with electronics so I don't see it as being a problem to put together and it's much cheaper. I was curious if anyone has used the Paia compressor or heard anything about it. Or does anyone know of a better compressor for around the same amount of money as the Alesis 3630 ($230-$250 US)?

Thanks
nay

If you decide to buy a pre-built compressor, go for the RNC by FMR. If you end up putting together the Paia, let me know how you like it.

Ditto to RE's comments.

I always wanted to try paia products but without a testimonial or two, my time is too limited to test the DIY paia waters myself.

sorry to mooch info off of your hard work, but hey, i'm pretty shameless

No problem Rhoadz I think I'm going with the Paia. It is slightly cheaper than the RNC. I'll let you and Recording Engineer know how it goes.
