Whoa, dude!!

Chill out! Stop pm-ing people and take a deep breath... count to 10...

This is not an instant answer service. You may have to wait for help. But you definitely will not get any by spamming the board. Try asking nicely and specifying details about your setup and your exact problem and then.... WAITING!

If a couple of days goes by with no answer, then maybe you could consider re-reading your original post to see if you can add to it with any additional stuff you've tried or if you can make it clearer so others might get a better idea what's going on. This will give it a bump back up. But you need to be patient and realize that people are doing this on their free time and that an answer may take a little while.

Relax.... breathe in.... breathe out.... in.... out...
-Jeff

You could also consider trying Cakewalk support if it's a more urgent matter.

Don't worry about it mate - I can assure you that most people here have made a dick of themselves in some way or another at some point in time.

You just got yours out of the way quickly

Now - your audio thing, try this -

- Close Sonar
- Find your AUD.INI file.
- Back it up.
- Delete the AUD.INI file.
- Open Sonar
- Run Wave Profiler.
- Re-test the record operation IN A NEW FILE at 16-bit

If that doesn't work, update the drivers for your sound card and tell us what everything says in the OPTIONS-AUDIO windows.

If you ever need a quick and dirty answer, you can always try the Cakewalk Forums which see a lot more traffic than this forum - www.cakewalk.com/forum/tt.asp?forumid=5

The answers will be quick, yet decidedly dirty and certainly not up to the quality of those presented by my esteemed colleagues here at HR.com.

Q.

This better be a legal copy young man otherwise we will kick your ass!
