I am thinking of getting a multi effects box for guitar soon.At first when I saw the Digitech RP-7 I set my mind on buying it. But someone told me that the DOD VGS50 is similar to the RP-7 as Digitech and DOD are related. The VGS50 is cheaper as well. Does anyone have comments on this? (regarding the effects as well) I appreciate it much.

Hi! I bought the VGS50 about a week ago. I will be using it as a preamp for recording direct my guitar, bass and vocals, though I haven't tried singing into it yet.
The clean valve 'distortion' looks promising, I wouldn't use a clean tone now without it. Wonder if it will sound good on vocals. Any comments?
