I pulled my Ensoniq VFX-SD out of the closet…

…and downloaded the software for doing stuff with it. SoundLib, etc. Pretty cool. I had to re-load the OS. Lots of free patches on the web. I like the way it feels. I can record a track in the sequencer, but haven’t figured out how to set the correct patch when I’m in the record mode. I like to figure these things out without a manual. I’ve figured out a lot in two nights. If I can’t get much further, I’ll get a manual from Mark Glinsky’s Manual manor…$15. Synths are cool.

Since Derek doesn’t seem to make it over here much, that’s “lying”.
