Is it possible to tightned headphones?

Hi, I know I am in mic forum but I didn't know where to post...

So here is my story:

I bought some AKG 270 S headphones.... for VERY CHEAP (I paid them 100bucks canadian... thats about $70 US). They are lightly used but no signs of abuse nothing, like new! The only thing I wanted to know, is it possible to tightned the headband? When I put it normaly on my head, I lose a lot of bass and when I slightly (very slightly) apply a pressure on the driver, I gain a nice bass definition.

Is that normal for these headphones?
I dont have any headphone amp... maybe thats why, I am routing throu the headphone amp of a behringer mixer (I know...)

You don't need another amp from a Berry mixer; there is one built into it.

Try adjusting (bending gently) the headphones to get a better fit or just buy another set of headphones...
