How can I get Ntrack to record mono instead of stereo?

I had an error on my ntrack software that wouldn't allow me to open it.

So, I uninstalled it and re downloaded it. It seems to be working fine except that it is only recording in stereo. (if I record a track it automatically records two of the same)

How can I refigure it to only record mono?

Under the recording VU there is a "hammer." Click on it and you can select mono or stereo. I think there is also one under the playback VU also for playback in stereo or mono.
