What WOuld you get?

Hello,
I am considering getting a new stand alone HD recorder.
Here are my choices.
1: Boss BR-1180CD
2: Boss BR-864

I'm not sure if I should get the 1180CD or the 864........
I like the USB and abilitys to dump tracks to my laptop.
But I like the "stand alone" capabilitys and 20gig's of the 1180CD.

I wish they would add USB to the 1180CD, That would make me have an easy time with this.

IS the 864 worth it? Can you do squat with it? is a 512flash big enough to do say 6-7 minutes on all eight tracks and some v-tracks, and still do convertions and dump to pc?

I can get a good price on both...........
