TASCAM US-224 Help

Hi
I am a guitar player with a pc and I just want to record my demos so
I'm going to bay the TASCAM US-224 recording unit
And I have a few questions abut this machine


Dos it work with cubase sx

If I have a pc audio card with latency problem dos it effect the Tascam unit (Tascam use a USB) and the recording process or results.

And generally if it worth the money if not what else is recommended for my requirements.
