if i get this mixer...

i need to know, if i get this peticular mixer will i need a poweramp with it, i'm guessing i don't becuase it is chategorized as "a powered mixer". my local studio shop sells it for about 700$ and i can't order it off the internet so i want to know if i can buy it and save from buying a power amp.

the link: http://www.studiospares.com/productd...%20POWERED&p=2

if that doesn't work it is the "BEHRINGER EUROPOWER PMX1000"

Uhm. That IS the PMX1000 you linked too. Mistake?

Most powered mixers are designed for live use, and not for recording. Just so you know. But then, if you need a poweramp, you are probably not gonna record are you? And then you should be fine.
