Just discovered something about my amp!

I own a Fender CVR (Custom Vibrolux Reverb) amp, and discovered something that made it sound sweeter...at least to my ears. I just took a guitar cable and linked the "Bright" channel 1 to the "Normal" channel 2, and plugged my LP Studio in the "Normal" channel 1. Adjust the "Bright" channel levels to taste, and it just sounds more full IMO. Has anyone else tried this?

Thats "jumping channels" Guit players have been doing it for years..Marshall nonmaster volume amps in particular{think Plexi's}Ahhh it takes me back..LOL...Why I remember when we didn't have master volumes and The DiMarzio super distort P.Us just came out...And I used to have to walk 10 miles to school..in the snow of course

revoltingyouth is on a distinguished road
all i can think of that it would do would be push your power tubes a little harder, and your output transformer. it wont fry the out put transformer, but you could be replacing tubes more often.
