Loud Pop!

Ok this is rediculous. I just once again turned off my monitors, and once again a loud POP came out of the left one. It scares the shit out of me and doesn't sound like it's doin the speaker any good. I need help!
Thanks,
Rob

You should be able to do a search on the subject. I know it has been discussed as I had this problem. First do you have powered monitors? I have Event PS6's. What I did was plug them into a good power strip and connect that to an outlet that is deicated to my studio. Nothing else is on this circuit but studio equipment. That power strip with nothing else pulgged into it goes to that circuit and now no pops at all.
