Can anyone tell me please...

Hi i'm new...

Just want to put a question...

I need to find out the synth that was used for the soundtrack on "day of the dead" George Romero film 1985. Composer John Harrison...who also did "Dune".

Thanks.

I found a review online that said he used a Prophet 5 and a Yamaha DX7.

This is it http://www.tracksounds.com/flashnote...march_2002.htm

It also says that a Korg T-3 was used, but the T-3 came out in about 1989 or 1990 so that cannot be correct.

good luck

well, excellent stuff...

incidentally i ordered that cd 4 days ago...got it from la la land records...

I use a mac running dig.performer mas therefore i think the prophet5 and dx7 (fm7) sounds can be reasonably achieved via virtual synthesis...
