How to record acoustic instruments.

Most of our recordings so far have involved using drum machines, guitar amp simulators etc..
But all of our recording is currently done with the Boss BR1180.

As we also play a load of real instruments we have re-recorded one of our songs with everything recorded on the Boss using SM57 & 58 microphones in a typical 10' square room.
All reverbs and stuff were also done with the Boss' effects too.
