I recently borrowed a Boss BR5___ (I forgot the exact number) which records on a 100Mb Zip disk. After recording on to the disk I took it home and put it in my PC. The PC doesn't recognize the Zip and asks for the program that created it. What program was used to create the song? How do I get the song from the Zip to my CD burner. I use microsoft media player for burning Cds. HELP!

Whatever it is (I suspect it's a BR8 if it uses 100meg zip), Windows can't use it's audio files directly. Never, ever.
If you go to www.rolandus.com And find the support downloads, there is a little utility program for the BR8 that allows conversion to normal .wav from the zip100 to your hard drive. In fact, it's here... http://www.rolandus.com/support/gena...48&ProdID=BR-8
