Configuring Cubase 5.1 to Use J-Station's S/PDIF

I been reading the various texts and am still confused about how to configure Cubase 5.1 to use my J-Station with its S/PDIF 24/44.1 output.

Can any J-Station users walk me through the "Audio System Setup" settings needed for this?

If I change "Audio Clock Source" to the available "S/PDIF" setting, will this this affect MIDI, or is this entirely separate?

Thanks for any help. I certainly need it. This has been bugging me for months.
