saving .svq as audio files?

Hey all.

My mate has a bunch of drum programs written on his roland workstation and we tried open these in cubase. Couldn't do it. Am trying to get .svq files (I think that's what they're called) from the roland to be saved as some type of audio file (.wav, .aiff etc) so as they can be imported into cubase sx. Is this at all possible?
