Sorry about the formatting - Copied & pasted... And for the record, these were on the final NARAS nomination ballot but did NOT attain the nominations they were up for (I'm not bitter... I'm not bitter... ). Changed "lost on" to "lost OUT on" - Don't want to cause any confusion or misrepresent...
  • FIELD 4 (ROCK) CATEGORY 18 (BEST METAL PERFORMANCE) #020 - SIX STRING SUICIDE by METAL MILITIA
  • FIELD 4 (ROCK) CATEGORY 21 (BEST ROCK ALBUM) #129 - PERPETUAL STATE OF AGGRESSION by METAL MILITIA
  • FIELD 11 (GOSPEL) CATEGORY 53 (BEST POP/CONTEMPORARY GOSPEL ALBUM) #073 - SILVER AND GOLD by VIGNOLA

All were Producer, Mixing engineer, Mastering Engineer**. Vignola added Recording Engineer & Assistant Recording Engineer (long story there).

It would've been nice, but I was happy just being on the list. This year will be better...

** I know, I know, I broke my own rules on "mastering your own mixes." If it helps, I had my apprentice helping keep me "in line" during the mastering sessions. Big help.

It reminds me of the old saying - "A man who chooses to represent himself in court has a fool for a lawyer"

Hey, give the guy a break. He just looks like he could use a new shirt . . . preferably one manufactured sometime within the last decade or two.

And maybe lose the Barry / Andy Gibb hair cut.

Thats uncalled for and extremely judgemental. Im sure if you knew how most of us older guys dressed in the 80's we would all look unusual. I went through a "Hall and Oats" phase but Im not showing those pics to anyone. My favorite shirt in the 80's was a Black Hobie Hawiian shirt with green glowing wrap around sunglasses. My hair was permed and fluffy. Ahhh the 80's.

Doink is on a distinguished road
I think I saw a video on microphones by this guy in the recording class I was in a couple of years ago.
A bit of an odd chap, but the video was chalk full of useful information!

I retract my earlier statements, which were little more than knee-jerk pile-on-the-spammer remarks.

He seems like an alright enough guy, and I think I have the same shirt somewhere in my closet... (as I peer from my glass house)

Most sincere apologies Bruce. My remarks were truly regretable.
