Question

Hello all!

I am looking to get a drum set, but I live in an apartment and don't want to pay a couple 100 dollars a month for a space. I was thinking about getting an electronic set from Roland(td-5 maybe?) and was looking for some advice. Iknow that they caon't sound the same as real drums, but is it pretty comparable? I will be recording to a Fostex fd-4. Any help is greatly appreciated

Thumbs up

I was in that very situation for years. Getting electronic drums is the thing to do. No it may not be the best things in the world, but they are when you are trying to have a studio in an apartment.

Some people have studio aparements, but you can have an apartment studio.

Arrow

For a lower $ electronic kit, check out Pintech stuff, www.edrums.com . Check www.rockbottommusic.com for prices.

find an Alesis D4 or DM5 used for $200 and under.
