What Are Your 24 Bit Settings?
I can't keep a steady grip on this...
What should it be? 24 bit? 24 Bit Left Justified? (What does that mean?) Drivers? Asio, WDM, MME? 24/96? Help, Please! I have 24 bit capabilities... VI |

hey, VI. The answers depend on which sound card you're running.
I have a Terratec.. run at 24/44.1.. WDM.. Left-Justified. tj

I use left-justified, although I have no idea why, it just works! I have had a LOT more luck with my WDM drivers than my ASIO drivers with nTrack and my Echo Mia.

i emailed M-Audio to get their opinion.....i shoulda known that was a mistake......
"Hello Mike, Have no clue what you mean. If these are settings in N-Track you will need to ask them as I have never heard "packed, unpacked , or unpacked left justified" in any software program. This must be specific to N-Track. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. CP" |

oh, geez. They should at least know what we're talking about.
My Terratec didn't specify either, however. I just experimented and found one that works. Seems most folks i hear from use left justified. tj
