Question

www.lovespirals.com

If you listen to samples of their album "flux" or download the Xmas song, you'll hear what I'm interested in. I more or less understand how to get those breakbeat patterns, but doesn anyone know how to get those tight, light sounding drums?

Their drums are light and airy, but when I try to get a similar sound, mine come out pretty thin sounding. I suppose it could be the reverb and chorus, but I think I could be missing something.

Thanks
