Zoom RhythmTrak 123 /234

Does anybody of you have experiences with Zoom RhythmTrak 123 or 234 ? My main questions are:

-What are the differences between the 123 and the 234 ? Does the (more expensive) 234 have real advantages compared to the 123, that make it wort the money ?

-Can you play single drum sounds using the MIDI - Interface or is it just for synchronization ?

I have the 234, And I think the main difference is more kits and sounds. i also beleive that the 123 does not have as many traks as the 234. the 234 has 4, which I use as all drums but snare, snare, percussion, and bass. the 123 only has 3 I think.
