I'm thinking about getting a drum machine to use in recording at my home. I'm just wondering what a good model is...I care mostly about a crisp snare, and as long as the rest doesn't sound like techno beats, it'll be fine.
Thanks ![]() |

Hey Cat:
Not Real sure what your budget for this project is or if you are Triggering Acoustic Drums or using Pads but I have for several years now been a supporter of Alesis Gear I own a D4,DM5 and the DMPro Which I can use for just about any job I come across... The last D4 I came across was about 125.00 in a pawn shop and I believe if you can't find the snare sound you are lookin for on it you may not ever find it........But anyway you really ought to check it out. Good Luck |

Dr Wiz,
How do you like the DM Pro compared to the DM5? What are some of the big advantages? How about the sound differences? Thanks. |
