Acid question?

I dont know if I havent looked enough or read enough help, but can you do a final mix using Acid?

Not sure what you mean. You are talking mixing down to 2 track stereo? You simply render the song by clicking on "File" and click on "render as". Then you can decide which format it will render to. You could do a WAV for burning to CD or an MP3 to send to a buddy, ect.... I suppose you'd have to record and mix in any outboard fx and midi stuff you use, but it renders stuff like VST plugins along with everything else.

I tried it before with mixed results.

It was pretty intense at first. Then I started having a bad trip and had some bizarre haluscinations. Like the speakers started dancing around with the music and I swore I could actually see the music making colors and stuff which was pretty freaky.

Anyway, I'm sticking with mushrooms from now on.

Yes, you can. [Ctrl-M]

However, there are other programs you could use for your final mix that will make your mixdown sound better.

I normally use Acid for arrangement.
