Well, I walked out of the store with a Sennheiser e835, a boom stand, and a mic cable with Neutrik ends for $100 even. The manager looked over the salesman's shoulder and whispered to him, "We're gonna have to talk afterwards...that's way too cheap." Oh well, I'm happy, and I hope the same salesman is there next time. Off to my mic...

Sounds good. Funny thing is, I wasn't really planning to buy anything. He just told me that he couldn't take anything off the price of the mic unless I bought other things, like throwing in cables and stuff. I said I needed a stand, too. He said, "Okay." I asked, "...and all this for $100 out the door?" He said, "Let's see...sure." All this in less than 10 minutes. I always seem to get the best deals when I don't really, haggle. Oh well. I'll definitely go in and thank him, though.
