Waldorf Microwave, Question for Users

Hey all,
If you own this, you probably already know that editing is a pain in the buttocks. I was wondering what you were using to edit to make new sounds. It seems capable of great sounds, but i am no scientist to figure it all out. I was looking for a midi controller as well, did anyone else have luck using a controller to edit all the parameters. I have a korg n5, but As far as I know none of knobs control the editing.
