sonar 1.3 and new Dell

I have a new Dell computer,Pent 4,2.8 gig,160 gig hard drive,512 memory. I'm having a bitch of a time with it running 24 tracks at a time. OS is Windows XP. Im running an alesis hd 24 through a Motu 2408 MKIII, into the computer. I get drop out after about 14 tracks. I have a ton of room on my hard drive as I said. I would not think 512 of memory would be the issue. Everything is set up correctly I believe. I did my other system with all the same components except a custom computer with windows 2000. Any help would be great! Jim

Are you killing the computer with effects?

You can try to adjust the I/O Buffer Size under Options -> Audio -> Advanced. If you don't know what to do, read the help-file or the manual.
