where would you recommedn I place the compressor?

I have a rack for my bass rig and need to know where I should best place the compressor.

I go from bass -> pedal tuner -> Tech21 PSA-1 preamp -> BBE sonic maximizer -> SVT3PRO with a TC electronic chorus on the FX send on the preamp...

Question is should I put the compressor on the fx loop out of the pramp or in line after the preamp and right before the BBE maximizer?
