great river me-1nv

I see the ME-1NV go for $1075 on various web sites. I got this guy talked down to $1000 (new). Is this what they really "go" for and I didnt really talk him down? I think its a good price. average?.....

i think $1000.00 is not bad at all. Great River did raise there prices not too long ago but made up for it with a year warranty (if I remember correctly) I bought my ME-1NV from a local store that I do buisness with at an unheard of price of $939.00 new. at the time they were going for $975.00 right before the $100.00 price hike to the current $1075.00. there isnt much room for deals unfortunatley so $50-$75 off is probably is as good as it gets.

Its a great pre and since you're already in the $900.00-$1000.00 club whats a few bucks at this point!...i think thats a very good deal for a new one. BTW, mercenary, humbucker, Atlas, etc. are all selling em for $1075, you dont see em much cheaper if at all.

enjoy!

Any useful tips on rack mounting the Me-1NV? I noticed that Mercenary will be offering some type of rack mount in 2004. Are there other good solutions?

There is a single channel rack mount kit available, ask your dealer.

A dual channel mounting kit will be available soon.

It's a sweet sweet sweet pre. I just got done tracking a session with a 2nv (pretty much everything went though it; guitars, vox, kick, snare, bass). You'll love it. Don't look back.
