New M-Audio 8 Channel pre From NAMM

well this looks pretty interesting!

"Each of the Octane's eight channels features the preamp technology found in M-Audio's DMP3 mic preamp"

M-ighty interesting...

I'm kind of a fan of a lot of M-Audio's stuff... Well thought out for the most part.

Phase reversal on some... (Who would ever need them on all?)

MS matrix...

Research time.

I wish they had two channels of low cut for ohs.

But damn, a rack full of dmp3s? Might be something a lot of home reccers will be interested in. I know I am.

Does anybody have any comments on how DMP3 tracks stack up in a mix?
