what do you bring with you to other studios?

so if you're working in someone else's studio, which piece(s) of rack gear do you ALWAYS bring with you (assuming you know the other place doesn't have it)?

i'm heading off to SPain of all places to work on a record.

the studio seems ok, lots of TL Audio gear, but fairly generic beyond that.

so i'm limited by what i feel like shipping/bringing on the plane (ugh) but that's another issue...

same question for mics, but i'll ask that in the mic forum...

ok what gear do you need by your side?

Monitors. I don't care what gear a studio has - If I can't hear it in a way I'm familiar with, nothing else matters.

Other than that, if they've got some nice preamps, I'm set.
