"A low-voltage plate supply is used to create a "starved-tube" condition for enhanced sound."
Ok you starved plate Tooob bashers, what product's literature boasts, or spins this feature of their circuit topology? |

Yup.....just thought it was a little humorous. I love creative marketing. Anyone have a thought on the VTB-1 vs the RNP vs the DMP3. I'm assuming the RNP is the clear winner?

Thanks for the link, I did read it. I'm not sure that there was really a clear winner, especially with the noise issue of the RNP coupled with it's higher price. I think the logic behind your decision was sound. It sounds like the DMP3 is quite a good value, a very decent pre, and a good stepping stone on the way to a high end pre.
thx, RD |
