about mackie
soundcraft is a best console to my ears, better preamps, wide range in eqs, comfortable in finger orders.... my favourite is yamaha for it sweet sound but I know that is never as soundcraft.
I give great importance at sound quality and warm. and in this matttes, mackie sound as very angry crow in some models. definitively my vote is soundcraft |

Finally, I've been trying to figure out how to get that 'angry crow' sound!
Somebody give me a colorful description of a 'behringer'. farting duck... constipated bear... monkey in heat... |

Nostromo- I work on a Mackie 32x8, unfortunately, I bought the "angry crow Turbo 9000" model, worked well for 3 years, until the ribbon cables went bad. Mackie sent me for free the "Anti-French Canadian Crow-less" Rev-G cables. They are working great, and no crows or Canadians can be heard in my studio.
