attach sp b1 to 5/8" mic stand

I recently got a Studio Projects B1 (much improved sound over my previous Nady SP5) but the thread of the included mic clip doesn't fit on the 5/8" flange of my microphone stands. Is there a way to adapt between the two?

thanks
Sathyan

There is a brass insert in the threaded part of the mount where you screw it into your stand. Take a dime, quarter, or something else, and unscrew it.

It will then fit your stand. The insert is for a European mic stand that uses a smaller end than we do in the USA, so we supply the adaptor screwed into the clip so it won;t get lost. Remove the adaptor is all you have to do.
