Transfering punch ins

I use the Fostex MR8 and transfer via USB to my PC. I can't get the punch in corrections to transfer to the computer. I don't want to mix down all tracks because I use cakewalk for some effects and want to keep tracks seperatly. Does anyone know how or if I can keep my punch in corrections and have seperate tracks?

Cool file transfer

If you are using Fostex Wav manager to import to pc, you can import seperately. If not, go to Fostex web site. click on support and download wav manager. You can then import tracks one by one to a selected folder and then transfer them into your mixing software. Mixed wav files can also be imported back to MR8 to use as reference which frees up tracks. Repeat the process as needed. Very easy. As far as your punch in question, I've never lost any punch in stuff in transfer. From what your saying is that it'll playback correctly in the MR8 but not after transfer to pc? Hmmm... Might want to hit tech support with that one or I'm sure someone in here knows how to help. Good luck! Happy Overdubbing! Pj

PJH, thanks for the reply. Yes, the problem is that you can hear the punch ins on the mr8, but after transfering to PC, they disappear.
