Angry N-track not recording.

Hi all. I am a 14 year old bass player and I received a Berhinger 8 channel Eurorack UB802 for my birthday. Last night I was playing with it, and recording my basses going into N-track. Today, I switch cables, and when I went to record into N-track, it doesn't record. I have the mixer sent into my soundcard via a double RCA to 1/8th inch connecter. N-track reconizes my signal, but doesn't record it. any help on what the problem could be?

if it worked before you switched cable, try switching them back, cables go bad all the time, maybe a small error in hookup when you switched cables
