Me attempting to sing acapella

I'm not exactly a singer so I need some suggestions on how to eq up my voice some. I do sound a little better when I have music to keep me on key. I know the high notes are rough.

two dry takes of my acapella voice PHEAR IT!

I hope it works this time last time there were issues with volume.

the media player wouldn't work for me, but if it's as bad as you say it is, maybe i shouldn't hear it anyway - i don't know if i can handle a butchered jeff buckley tune anyway! (I'm a huge fan)

Sounds like an audition for Pop Idol or something. Your volumes are WAY low, but if you turn it up enough you can hear something (t does stay a constant volume though). I find it hard to judge without the music, because I can't tell if your hitting the notes or not. The high notes aren't your best, thats true, but I honestly can't tell without the music. Can you get a backing track to stick it with or something?
