has anyone tried these monitors

The cheapest monitors I've come across so far; Nady sm-250a active monitors. I know I'll have to check them out at the store with a cd I know really well and then compare them to better monitors, but still, I never had real monitors so I'm not sure what to look for.
Do these specs mean anything to anyone?

Cool

those Nadys run $399 here....for a 6.5" speaker, id go with Yorkville YSM1P's or the Event TR6N's , both at about the same price........

Well they are a little over half the price the tr-5's or the yamaha's mp5's. They cost 600 euros a pair, while those Nady's are 350,-

They cost even more then the yamaha's MP5's or the Event's TR-5's.

I guess I'm gonna have to listen to them all and then decide..
Thanks all for the help.

If you're looking for a cheap pair of active monitors check out M-Audio SP-5B. That's what I'm using right now and I'm pretty happy with em ($300 US)

even though I hate 90% of behringer stuff

the truth monitors that run about $300 sound halfway decent and will give other monitors in that ruange a run for their money.

Yorkville YSM1P'S. Google.com them to death, read the reviews and owner's satisfaction comments on various sites. 400 bucks. Great translation and usable low end remarkably. Can't go wrong. ---Lee
