ESI nEar05 monitors
Hi,
Up till now I have been using headphones to mix but when i play the song back on my car stereo some tracks sound a lot lower in volume than they did thru the headphones. So i have to mix again...I'm burning too many CD's...it's a pain!! Anway it looks like I need to invest in a decent monitoring system methinks???.I'm married so i need to get cheap ones. Can't afford anything > 300Euros.I saw these ESI monitors (Active which i want) on the net for 240Euros including shipping.Have any of you good folks had a any dealings with these monitors??? |

wow...these look exactly like the old m-audio SP5B's without the logo. In fact you may find the m-audios at a cheaper price. They are only about $199 or less new.

Yeah I read on a recent thread they are the same.
As far as the price goes I'm in the Euro zone & believe me this is cheap!!...don't think i'd find anything cheaper here...need to find out if they're any good though. |

if they are exactly like the m-audios then there ok for mixing, I used em for about a year. But they dont handle low end very well at high levels due to the woofer size. Mid to low level monitoring will give you good results. Good clean highs.
