I have some midi files I downloaded from the internet. They play fine in Windows but I can't open or import them into Encore or Concertware on my MAC. Thanks for your help.

Never mind. I figured out that PC Exchange on my MAC was converting my midi files to text files. Thanks anyway.

I already thought that this was a strange topic.
Midi is exactly the same under Unix, Linux , Macintosh , Atari, Dos and Windows.
Midi is a standard communication protocol, so any computer can be conected to any other sharing eachothers Midi-data.
On your Mac normally Quicktime would play the midi files by default.
Else you open your Midi software, and import it in Encore, or any other programme you have.
If you want others to use your midi files later, store them as Standard Midifiles. Every computer can handle these.
Tittles like these should not excist. Best regards Wturner.
