midi in problem

Hi, I'm having problems with Win98 and
enabling midi in, I have midi out, it simply
dosen't show up in control panel/system or multimedia, I have the following..
Win98
K6-2 266
directX 7
Cake 9
SB64 Awe gold

Do yourself a favor and get a MIDIMAN MIDIsport or similer. If you can connect via USB you will have fewer headaches. Last seen for about 69 bucks at Guitar Center. Plus, it enables you to access 32 channels of MIDI
