Are you using 2 cables, in and out?

I'm using the joystick port in use with my POD 2.0 Sound Diver software, but I can't get the software to recognize that my POD is hooked up. I have the midi button on the POD on, but it still won't work. Am I missing a step?

There's the midi adapter that plugs into the joystick port with 2 midi cables running out of it, and yes, I have both plugged into the POD. Any ideas?
