Yo Medulla Oblongata:}
Just went through my manual for the SR 16. There are no ambience/reverb controls. But the sound chart that comes with the manual the sounds listed and identified as Dry - Reverb - or Stereo.
So, I guess you can't get rid of or adjust the amount of reverb put into the sounds/patches.
My Boss 770 drum machine has a bunch of ambience settings which offer different settings for any of the patches.
You can add more reverb with an outboard box; but, aside from panning l/r, to lessen the intensity of a patch, I don't think you can add/remove the reverb in the patches.
BTW: Laphroig is much better -- it's only made on the isle of Islay and filtered through the peat moss only from that area. A bit expensive in the states though.
Merry Christmas
