I need help designing my workstation. I want to sync it all up without having to buy and build the ENTERPRISE in my studio. Gear includes; the ALESIS STUDIO PACK,TASCAM 414, and a crapy MIDI keyboard that I'd replace if I knew it would help to do so. I don't want to run it on my regular pc because I have some old pc parts that were given to me and I think it would be great to dedicate its software to syncing my hardware, editing my ALESIS SR16, and sending samples and synths to a MIDI keyboard. Is there perhaps a book that is specifically written to help MIDI newbies build a wrkstation for his modest little project studio? -jax
