Where are my effects???

I've been using Cool Edit Pro for about 3 years almost. Just the other day, I loaded up a file and wanted to add some reverb, but when I clicked on the Transform button and clicked Delay Effects, only Delay appears. It gives me no other options. The same thing goes with the other categories of effects. It only allows me one effect per category. The others aren't even there. Is this a settings problem, or could a virus possibly be eating away at the program? If this has happened to anyone else, please let me know how you corrected the problem. Any tips are welcome. This is driving me crazy and I'm losing my mind without it.

Thank you in advance,
-Springfield

scottyd is on a distinguished road
Talking it had me stumped too

what you got to do is go to switch to edit mode (not multi track) and click on effects in the top left corner and refresh effects is at the bottom of the menu.

Hey, I appreciate your help, but I dont see anything labeled Effects anywhere. I'm in edit mode and see nothing. Is it in "File, Edit, View" etc...? or is it a button or what.

scottyd's instructions are complete and precise. If you don't see it, it's cuz your installation of Cool seems to be self-destructing.

It happens to me sometimes too, though not quite as spectacularly as in your case. Time for a Cool Edit uninstall/reinstall?
