what buffer settings do you use?

what are normal buffer settings? are the default settings usually ok?

All depends on what your computer likes. I'd say set it the lowest you can without getting pops and clicks. I've got mine at 256, but some programs let me go lower. With Reason, latency is a bigger issue because of midi sequencing and such. So I'll set it to 64 for 2ms latency when I'm using reason. I'm running a MOTU 2408 MKII.

Yeah, the default settings are okay if things sound fine on playback. But if you're getting stuttering or dropouts or pops and such, then increase the number/size of the buffers.
