Question

I've been using a easy to use cheap sequencing program/software named " Magix Music Studio 2000". It has been working perfecly until the past day or so. When I am viewing a drum track, and I decide to add a new percusion tone, the program freezes, my music freezes, and the computer tells me that a fatal exception error was caused at so and so, ect, ect, ect.
What does this mean? Is it the software? Midi cables?
confused!

Wink

Too many variables.
How long have you had the software?
Have you added software afterwards?
Does it work with an 8bit or 16bit card?
Have you run a scandisk?
Have you checked system resources?
How cheap was it and should you upgrade?
Have you tried a complete uninstall and then
reinstalled it?
Have you checked their tech support to see if they had a fix for it.
It sounds like a software problem to me.

Unhappy

Wipe the whole folder where the Software resides and reinstall the program from a clean copy. This sort of stuff even happens to the pricier stuff. If it worked before and your system is the same it should work again.
But if you've never tried this operation before and it does this all the time after starting the program from a clean boot, you've just found a bug.
Call the SW makers and complain.
