Smile Yet, another? newbie question

Hi, what´s going on!!?? i need your help guys with the following; to make a very long story short, i´m just using cool edit for recording my bands stuff for now.

How can i record a click track where i can manipulate the tempo and notes at will (in the cool edit)?

i need to know a bit more about the "chain effects" applied to every individual track (which effects, and the order applied, depending on the instrument also.....)

How do i synch and/or mix the several tracks i´ve recorded?

the most interesting question off the bunch: can i export the tracks i´ve recorded with the cool edit to another software? pro tools in this case

or anyone of you know where i can get a tutorial of how to record in multitrack mode (recording techniques, effects and so on) with the cool edit (the help files haven´t been of that much help for me )??

Thanx in advance.
