Question

Hi everybody,

I'm searching for schematics to do a SMPTE to Midi or Midi to SMPTE
converter beacause I want to sychronize my computer with a 8 tracks
TASCAM tape deck. I have a SMPTE generator TASCAM ATS-500.

I know that there is a lot of expensive converters on the market that
take the SMPTE signal and turn it to MIDI TIME CODE. I want to know if
there is a simple thing that I could build to synchronize my machines
together.

Thanks in advance.
