Wink

I have a Korg keyboard and a Akai mpc 2000 sequencer hooked up via MIDI cables. Whatwould be the point of dumping a program or a sequence from one to the other via MIDI dump?

When I do so like the directions state nothing happens. I do not know if it is possible or not. If it is I would just like to see what happens to know if I want to do it. But it bugs me because nothing happens.

When I play around with it hooked up I can do cool things but the dumping sequences or programs nothing occurs.

HELP with MIDI PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lightbulb

I have a mpc 2000 also connected to a planet phatt. What I wanted to do was to dump the drums from the phatt and play them on the mpc.All I can tell you is to make sure the midi id of the keyboard is inputed into the mpc and to make sure your keyboard can recieve midi file/sample dumps.

Question

Both machines are able to recieve and transmit to eachother. What I seem to have difficulty performing is to get the MPC to acknowledge it is recieving data.

I just want to see if it will do it and if it is beneficial.
